FEATURED PROJECT
Midcentury Modern Home Remodel
Fox Point, Wisconsin
Lake Views & Nature Set the Stage
We have worked on many homes in gorgeous settings – but this one was absolutely breathtaking! On a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan with mature trees and natural surroundings, the home’s location is undeniably stunning – and after its remodel, the home is, too.
The focus for the kitchen was natural-looking materials, clean lines, timelessly modern. We removed a wall that was separating the cooking space from the back of the home – turning the galley-style kitchen into a gallery-view of the Lake! The new cabinets are beautiful and complement the existing architecture. Our skilled team was able to seamlessly blend new wood flooring in with the existing (no small feat!).
Beyond the kitchen remodel, we also updated the dining room, laundry room, primary/master bathroom and primary/master closet.
Project Scope: Nearly a whole-home remodel, including Kitchen Renovation, as well as Dining Room, Laundry Room, Lake Room, Master (Primary) Closet, and Master (Primary) Bathroom

Dustin’s Pro Tip
“When you are looking to start a remodeling project, get all the key players together before the project starts for the best outcome. One of the first suggestions I made to this customer was to open up the kitchen to the lake if she was going to be taking on a remodeling of this magnitude. When the remodeling is finished you do not want to have any regrets about what could have been!
I also recommend replacing ALL of the galvanized water lines in a home when you can. Old galvanized lines break down from the inside and can cause a bunch of issues. You don’t want to get to the end of a project only to have old plumbing in the wall of your brand-new bathroom or kitchen!”
